Sonny and Daisy are both German Wirehaired Pointers (GWP) and they arrived as rescue dogs at The Scarlet Paw Print in the middle of November. They spend their days running in the fields with their Spaniel and Labrador friends, and snoozing at our feet. They also love playing ball and chasing the birds out of the trees in the garden.
Arnie was also a GWP and a member of the Army Dog Unit in NI. The Unit was made up
of different Army cap badges and they were unified under a red paw badge which symbolises
the times when dogs had to work with bloody paws from carrying out their duties.
Our company name and poppy logo was chosen as a tribute to the red paw badge and
the time Arnie served in the British Army. He passed away recently, but was much
